Samos

Samos, the birthplace of the mathematician Pythagoras, the astronomer Aristarchus and goddess Hera is an island with a thousand faces. The wonderful sea-side scenery blends with the mountains, the caves and gorges, the unique monuments with the ancient temples. A visitor has the opportunity to discover not only the beaches and the nature of the area, but also tens of picturesque villages, both sea-side and mountainous, and of course, the most important settlements of the island:  the beautiful capital city (Bathy) with its archeological museum of great significance and the neoclassical buildings, the cosmopolitan Karlovassi and finally, the Pythagoreion, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Samos, on the other hand, is an ideal destination for nature lovers. Both worth being explored, the mountains Kerkis and Karvounis are rich in paths and walking routes for beginners as well as advanced hikers.

Kerveli gulf

The gulf of Kerveli is a beautiful beach with shallow waters and picturesque taverns, where our accommodation settlements are found. By itself, Kerveli is a particular destination of the island of Samos. Besides, it is ideal for the lovers of scuba-diving, as it offers a wonderful sea bottom for underwater exploration.  Of course, there is an organized scuba-diving centre in the area. The beach is only 300m away from Petra Mare Village, while the beach and the taverns can be accessed from Nafsika Villas on foot.
